.NET Developers (Multiple Positions)

Multiple Positions

The .NET Developer is responsible for transforming business requirements into software solutions to support Encompass’ line of business applications. In addition, candidate will assist in identifying opportunities for workflow automation and application integration to include custom code development and maintenance, application enhancements and 3rd party API integration. This person will interact with stakeholders of various departments to identify, scope, and implement technologies that support corporate agility and overall business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate high-level business requirements into feasible, technically sound solutions
  • Participate in the design of enhancements and new functionality for current and future line of business applications (e.g. Great Plains, ScheduALL, eRequester, Salesforce, SharePoint 2010, departmental websites)
  • Establish realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
  • Very well organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare technical, operational, and end user related documentation in support of custom applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to functional users.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Applications Manager.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, Web Services, .NET Framework development with MS SQL 2008/2012 databases
  • 4+ years of experience developing solutions utilizing technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, JAVA, XHTML, HTML5
  • 4+ years of experience integrating both web and client/server applications.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience conducting system analysis, design, modeling and system architecture.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Must be a team player and willing to teach and learn from others.
  • Experience leveraging open source development such as PHP (OOP) on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, and MySQL) is a plus.
  • Experience with SharePoint management and/or development is a plus.
